SCROLL

The Bunkyo Ajisai Festival celebrates its 42nd edition.

A place for exchange across generations, deepening community bonds and sharing the charm of Bunkyo. Like hydrangeas deepening in color under the rain, 9 days where people and communities gently connect. It has become a beloved early-summer tradition of Bunkyo.

Set in Hakusan Park — the oldest park in Bunkyo Ward, established in 1891 — and the adjacent Hakusan Shrine, around 3,000 hydrangeas in a rainbow of colors and cool floral shadows along bamboo fences await your visit.
